Leaders who once stood as beacons of faith now seem to waver under the pressures of modern society. This crisis calls for a return to our faith's foundational truths, which provide guidance and strength in tumultuous times.
In Proverbs 29:18 (NKJV), the Bible states, “Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; But happy is he who keeps the law.” Offering their congregations a clear, God-given vision, such leadership prevents us from losing our way, ensuring that our actions and beliefs align with the teachings of Christ.
We must seek leaders who resist the urge to compromise their beliefs for worldly acceptance. Leaders of spiritual integrity guide us in walking the path of righteousness, undeterred by the shifting sands of popular opinion. As a Christian community, let us pray for and uphold such leaders, trusting God's wisdom to guide all of us through these very challenging times.
Quote
Where there is no leadership, people scatter; think about that.
Prayer
Lord, help me to pray for the leaders around me that they would be rock solid. Amen.
Action Point
Don’t criticise the leader if you are not willing to help them find a solution to any problem.
