Today's society leans towards a 'throwaway' lifestyle, contrasting starkly with the Biblical call to stewardship and care for creation. Genesis 2:15 states, "And Jehovah God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it." Underscoring the responsibility given to us to protect the environment ultimately.
The shift towards a disposable nature includes technological advancements, cost saving, and detachment from the natural world. As life becomes more fast-paced the value placed on sustainability and long-term ecological well-being has diminished.
To fix this is a moral imperative, aligning with the Biblical ethos of respecting and preserving the world we have been entrusted with. It's a call to remember our foundational role as caretakers of the Earth, ensuring its health and vitality for future generations. Take a stance to move away from plastics, throwing away too much, and not caring for the environment.
Quote
