Kindness, a vital fruit of the Spirit, is more than just a pleasant attribute; it expresses God's character working within us. In Galatians 5:22-23 (NIV), kindness is listed among the fruits of the Spirit, indicating that it is not a human quality but a divine gift that grows within us as we walk in step with the Spirit.
Kindness does not depend on receiving anything in return; it's unconditional, just as God's love is unconditional. It’s a beacon of hope and compassion in a world often marked by harshness and indifference.
Kindness, therefore, becomes not just an act we perform but a part of who we are, deeply woven into the fabric of our being by the Spirit’s transformative power. Always remember that you are an expression of your character to others. Always be kind in the same way that you would like others to be kind to you.
