The difference between satan’s and God's voices is stark and profound. The devil’s voice is characterised by urgency and agitation. It rushes, pushes, and instils fear, breeds confusion, discourages worries, and leads to obsessive thoughts, addictions, and feelings of condemnation.
Conversely, God's voice embodies a wholly different nature. The Bible says, "God is not a God of disorder but of peace" (1 Corinthians 14:33, NIV). His voice stills the chaos, leads gently, reassures the heart, and enlightens the mind, encouraging comfort and calm, guiding believers with a steady, unwavering hand.
Recognising these distinct voices is crucial for life. While Satan's voice seeks to disrupt and derail, God’s voice doesn't coerce or confuse; instead, He offers a refuge of truth and love, guiding us towards a life of fulfilment and purpose under His wise and loving sovereignty. The best thing you can learn is how to tune into God’s voice!
