As our everlasting Father, God offers us guidance, protection, and enduring love. This paternal aspect of God reassures us that we are never alone, for we have an eternal Father whose wisdom and care are always available to us.
Isaiah 9:6 (ESV) says, "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace."
Understanding God as our everlasting Father has profound implications for our lives. In every moment of joy, every challenge, and every ordinary day, we are under the loving watch of a Father who cares deeply about us. This knowledge brings comfort and strength, allowing us to face life with confidence and peace, knowing that our Everlasting Father is with us, guiding, loving and supporting us every step of the way.
