Planning your year with intention and foresight is crucial for setting yourself up for success. Effective planning involves setting clear goals and identifying the steps needed to achieve them, ensuring that each action we undertake aligns with your objectives.
Proverbs 16:3 (TLB) says, "Commit your work to the Lord, and then your plans will succeed." It reminds us that while planning is essential, aligning our plans with God's will is paramount.
Planning your year is about balancing ambition with practicality and dreams with action. It involves regularly reviewing and adjusting your plans to stay on course, being open to new opportunities and learning from setbacks. As we plan and seek God’s direction, we give our endeavours the best chance of success, grounded in faith and guided by divine wisdom. This holistic approach to planning combines personal initiative with spiritual trust, paving the way for a fruitful and fulfilling year.
Do your bit to enable everything you do for God to succeed.
Lord, spark my mind to think through everything I must consider for the coming year. Amen.
Have coffee with a friend and hone your plans through conversation.
