Maintaining a positive attitude in the face of criticism is challenging. It's natural to feel hurt or discouraged when others speak ill of us, but it's in these moments that our faith and character are truly tested. Remembering that we are here because God believed in our possibility.
The Bible offers wisdom on handling criticism and negativity. James 1:2-3 (NCV) says, "My brothers and sisters, when you have many kinds of troubles, you should be full of joy, because you know that these troubles test your faith, and this will give you patience." This strengthens our faith and develops patience. Our worth is defined by God, not by the opinions of others.
When we focus on God's belief in our potential and purpose, we will find the strength to rise above negativity, maintaining a positive and hopeful outlook regardless of our challenges. Remember, God always knew you were possible.
