Its timeless quality reflects the enduring nature of God's truth and the power of creativity that reflects His image.
Psalm 150:3-5 extols the beauty and significance of music, ‘Praise him with a blast of the ram’s horn; praise him with the lyre and harp! Praise him with the tambourine and dancing; praise him with strings and flutes! Praise him with a clash of cymbals; praise him with loud clanging cymbals.’ (NLT) It's clear David liked cymbals!
It carries the power to transport us to tranquillity. Through intricate melodies and harmonies, classical draws us close to God’s presence in profound ways. We can reflect on the gifts and talents God has placed within the authors, which we still enjoy today.
