Psalm 45:1 says, ‘My heart is overflowing with a good theme; I recite my composition concerning the King; My tongue is the pen of a ready writer.’ (NKJV) Christian scholars believe this is a messianic prophecy, speaking of the future relationship between Jesus and the Gentile church, His bride.
This love letter is a work of art. The phraseology is exquisite. When you consider that Jesus might be the author of your own words to bring His truth to the people around you, it would be easy to be impressed by just that.
Our relationship with Jesus is deep, it doesn’t cut corners, it's patient, loving and focused on the lost. When we give Jesus permission to fill our tongues with love letters from His heart, every conversation will draw people to the Saviour of the World. Your tongue can be a tool from the heart of God’s son.
Quote Jesus can convey His love through our lips if we allow Him to.
Prayer
Lord, help me be available enough that the words of Your Son, flow through my lips. Amen.
Action Point
Think about what you say and how that could change to edify Jesus.
