Seen as the leader of the 1904 Revival, the 26 yr old unqualified preacher was a servant of God through prayer. He was so desperate for God to move that he along with others prayed, prayed and prayed some more. It wasn’t long before God started to take notice and visit Wales.
He’s known for four main points. 1) We must confess before God every sin in our past life that has not been confessed. 2) We must remove anything that is doubtful in our lives. 3) Total Surrender. We must say and do all that the Spirit tells us. 4) Make a public confession of Christ.
When our heart is desperate enough for God to move, we can pray this scripture. Psalm 85:6 says, ‘Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?’ (NIV) Let’s focus on prayer relentlessly, then God will move again.
Quote When our lives are given over to the pursuit of revival, God will come to visit.
Prayer
Lord, help my heart be so aligned to yours that I become an instrument of Revival. Amen.
