When we serve with gratitude, we acknowledge the blessings we've received and share them with those around us. It transforms our actions into meaningful gestures of kindness, fostering community and connection. As it says in Acts 20:35 (GNT), "There is more happiness in giving than in receiving.”
It shifts our focus from what we lack to the abundance we can offer. This attitude encourages us to approach service as a privilege. It allows us to see every act of kindness as an opportunity to spread God's love and make a positive impact.
Serving with gratitude also deepens our spiritual growth. It reminds us of Jesus' example, who came not to be served but to serve. By following His footsteps, we grow closer to Him, embodying His teachings daily. This practice enriches our faith journey, fostering a spirit of humility and compassion that resonates with the true essence of Christianity.
