00374 - You are NOT Irrelevant

Every Christian has a place in the world, a life of potential and biblical direction. Irrelevance suggests you have no purpose, that you are worthless, without ability or desire.

Think about this. God wants to be focused and active on Jesus, thereby being very relevant to the Creator of the Universe. The people who cry out irrelevant are usually jealous or want to discredit others to improve their own position. Don’t be swayed; stay on track, and ultimately focus on Jesus.

1 Timothy 4:12 speaks of the young like this, ‘Do not let anyone treat you as if you are unimportant because you are young. Instead, be an example to the believers with your words, your actions, your love, your faith, and your pure life.’ (NCV) This applies to everyone, keep your eyes on Jesus, keep focussed on His purpose; that must surely be the ultimate recognition of service.

Quote The most relevant thing you can do in life is to serve and display Jesus's character.

Prayer

Thank You, Lord, that I can find my relevance in You. Amen.

Have you ever considered how you might be more efficient in God’s Kingdom?
