Welcome Holy Spirit

Updated: Feb 14

John 16:13 says, ’But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.’ (NIV)

The Holy Spirit is part of the Trinity, sent as a comforter by Jesus. He consistently points us to Jesus. This verse reminds us of the Holy Spirit's deep knowledge of Jesus and how He sees everything past, present and future.

We often underestimate the work of the Holy Spirit. Acts 1:8 says we will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon us. This power enables us to reach others for Jesus like we were. If you do not feel you have received the power of the Holy Spirit, pray and ask God to anoint you with it, you will truly be blessed.

Quote

The Holy Spirit will empower you to a deeper revelation of Jesus.

Prayer

Lord, would You allow me to experience the power of the Holy Spirit? Amen.

Action Point

A lovely little book called ‘Welcome Holy Spirit’ is available on Amazon; it’s worth a read.
