00274 - Giving Up

In over thirty years of ministry, I’ve noticed the most effective people have been the ones who persevered over time. Come what may, they chipped away at something and found a way through. They never gave up.
Of course there would have been times of trial, ill-health, zero finance, discord and even disagreement, yet they still found a way to carry on.
Giving up is a permanent solution to a temporary problem! Once you give up, the pursuit of the vision God has given you stops. If you feel like giving up, pause, take a day or too off, regroup, get some encouraging input and start again! 1 John 5:4 says ‘For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.’ (NKJV) Whatever you face, don’t quit hastily, find a way, your faith will see you through.
