Hebrews 11:1-2 in the Message says this. ‘The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. It’s our handle on what we can’t see. The act of faith is what distinguished our ancestors, set them above the crowd’.
The fact that we as Christians have faith at our disposal is a testament to God’s provision in our lives. Yet, we often pose questions about faith, without exercising it. What if it doesn’t work? do we really believe in it? Will things work out exactly the way we want them to?
The question – what have we got to lose? springs to mind. If God has created faith for us, let’s exercise it. If faith does its work the outcome to the situation might be glorious, if it doesn’t you won’t be any worse off than before.
Quote Exercising faith reveals God in the circumstance, not outside it.
Prayer Heavenly Father, help me to take that step of faith I’ve been putting off for so long, Amen.

Have you chatted with your Church leader about the faith step you need to take, they will probably have some good advice and pointers as well as pray with you.
