00178 - Every past has a history

Updated: Mar 10, 2023

You might say, that is such an obvious statement, there is bound to be a history if there was a past. The point here is whether we want to be stuck in that history and confined by the past. One single event can paralyse us from faith and believing for a better future.

Philippians 3:13 says ‘Brethren, I do not count myself to have [a]apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead’. (NKJV)

Everyone has got something in their suitcase of history which they believe needs to be carried around for the rest of their lives. Jesus allows us the freedom for a better future free from the things that bound us up. We just need to believe that our faith will make a way for us, in the mighty and wonderfully anointed, Jesus name !

Quote

A past history can be an anchor to a bright future, lets in faith break its chain.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, I know in you there is a hope and a future, I embrace that today in Jesus name, Amen.
