00676 - Focus On Those Who Lift You Up

The company we keep can significantly influence our path and perspective. Proverbs 13:20 (NCV) advises, "Spend time with the wise and you will become wise, but the friends of fools will suffer." The value of seeking friendships that encourage wisdom and discernment while cautioning against relationships that lead us away from God's best for our lives.

The friends who lift us up speak truth in love, stand by us in trials, and celebrate life with us in victories. These close relationships are gifts from God, meant to strengthen and enrich our journey with God.

Moving away from those who bring us down is not about judgment but setting healthy boundaries. By consciously investing in friendships that reflect God's love and truth, we nurture our souls and become sources of light and encouragement to others. Let’s cultivate a community that glorifies God and embodies the love and grace of Christ.
