Declaring Jesus as Adonai acknowledges His ultimate authority and kingship over all creation. Romans 14:9 (NKJV) tells us, "For to this end Christ died and rose and lived again, that He might be Lord of both the dead and the living." Christ’s resurrection is the cornerstone of our faith, demonstrating His sovereign power and His promise of eternal life to those who believe in Him.
Embracing Jesus as Adonai means acknowledging His lordship in every aspect of our lives, surrendering our wills to His, and seeking to reflect His love and grace in our actions. When it’s easy to give Satan ground, we should focus entirely on Jesus.
By declaring Jesus as Adonai, we commit to a journey of faith that seeks to glorify Him in all we do. We recognise His sovereignty and the hope of resurrection, which empowers us to face life's challenges with courage and grace.
