00550 - Not On My Watch

Ephesians 6:13 (NLT), says, "Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm." It's a call to spiritual arms, to be vigilant and prayerful against the forces that seek to cause us harm.

In society, three prevalent fears loom large: illness, financial insecurity, and personal safety. These anxieties often cast long shadows over our lives. Yet, as people of faith, we are encouraged to confront these fears head-on, not with a spirit of timidity but with the boldness that comes from trust in God.

Our active role is guarding against the threats that seek to undermine our peace and security. By doing so, we fortify our lives against these fears while standing intercessors for our communities, wielding the power of prayer as a shield of faith.
