00541 - Breakthrough Takes Time

Achieving a breakthrough for Christ in your community is not an instant affair; it's not like zapping a meal in a microwave. It's more like a stew's careful, sustained cooking, where flavours deepen and develop over time. Galatians 6:9 (TLB) encourages us: "And let us not get tired of doing what is right, for after a while we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t get discouraged and give up."

Just as a microwave cannot replicate the tenderising effect of slow cooking, swift efforts rarely produce the depth of change that steady, loving actions can achieve over time.

The most fruitful outcomes often require the longest time to come to fruition. Diligently planting seeds, watering, and tending bring about a bountiful harvest. Therefore, let us persevere in doing good, loving people, and serving persistently. This will yield a rich legacy of faith and transformation within your community.
