00480 - Relaxing In God’s Armchair

The idea of relaxing in the "armchair of God" is so comforting, Psalm 23:1-2 (NIV) says, "The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters." In those lines, there's a strong sense of being looked after, nurtured, and guided.

Imagine an armchair that's always available, moulding perfectly to fit you. You're enveloped in a sense of peace, knowing you're exactly where you need to be. All the worries and the stress, start to fade into the background again.

In this armchair, you're free to breathe, to contemplate, and even to dream. It's a place where you can let go of control for a bit, letting Someone wiser take the reins. And the more you sit, the clearer things become. Life's priorities shift back into focus, and you find the strength and perspective to face the day.

Quote The armchair of God is where He takes over the fights of life for you.

Prayer
