00468 - Raise Your Gaze Above The Haze

In 2 Corinthians 4:18 (NCV), we are told, "We do not look at the things that can be seen. We look at the things that cannot be seen. The things that can be seen will come to an end, but the things that cannot be seen will last forever." Faith acts as a lens, focusing our attention on God's eternal promises rather than the temporal issues that plague our daily lives.

Often, the weight of our immediate circumstances can feel overwhelming, blurring our vision and making it difficult to see beyond the present moment. However, faith acts like a clarifying filter, cutting through the haze and revealing a broader perspective.

When we fix our eyes on God, circumstances diminish to the size they really are. Someone once said, 95% of the things we worry about never happen. Keep your focus on God, life will then be purposeful once again.

Quote Raise Your Gaze Above The Haze.
