The heart, often considered the essence of who we are, can be likened to a chandelier – intricate, radiant, and designed to illuminate with splendour. Each crystal represents our qualities, experiences, and the love we give and receive.
Ephesians 2:10 (NIV) states, "For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." God has intricately fashioned our hearts just as a craftsman meticulously designs a chandelier. When we align our intentions with His purpose, our 'chandelier' gleams brightly, reflecting His spiritual beauty.
Being seen as a person of beauty isn't merely about your outward appearance. It's the radiance of a heart that loves generously, acts with kindness, and stands firm in integrity. By nurturing our relationship with God, the chandelier of our heart shines brilliantly, casting a warm, nurturing glow that draws others towards its God given luminescence.
Quote Let’s shine God to every person we meet.
Prayer
Lord, help me be as radiant as possible, shine the light of Your heart to others. Amen.
Action Point
How much time do you spend with God each day? If you don’t feel it is enough, what must you do to change that?
