00438 - Patient Love

God's love for us is profound, marked by patience and enduring compassion. Even when we falter, His steadfast love remains, waiting for us to understand and grow.

2 Peter 3:9 (NCV) says, "The Lord is not slow in doing what he promised—the way some people understand slowness. But God is being patient with you. He does not want anyone to be lost, but he wants all people to change their hearts and lives." This verse beautifully encapsulates the depth of God's patient love.

As recipients of such love, we are called to exhibit this towards others. Just as God extends grace and waits for us, we, too, should show enduring love in our relationships, giving others the space to grow, make amends, and find their way. Such patient love not only reflects God's nature within us but also serves as a beacon of hope in a hurried world.

Quote Patient love is the essence of who God is.
