00422 - The Road Less Travelled

Matthew 7:14 says, ‘But the Gateway to Life is small, and the road is narrow, and only a few ever find it.’

The broad way is a road full of distraction, where anything goes, there is no self-discipline, and sin is common. I guess it's broad because so many people journey on it. As this Bible verse suggests, the narrow way is a road less travelled. Not a popular road; it might never bring you riches or popularity; it’s a road of sacrifice and prayer.

You’ll also occasionally hear advice like ‘take the higher ground’, which means not to get embroiled in an argument; simply take it on the chin and move forward. Whether it’s the narrow way or the high ground, the point is that a life with Jesus is filled with purpose, hope, faith, and grace, which is the road less travelled for all of God’s children.

Quote The road less travelled is full of hope, faith and grace.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You that I travel the narrow road of life with You. Amen.

Action Point

Look at your life and change the habits that rob you of time and journeying with God.
