He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creatures. He is the light of the world. He has all authority. He defeated sin and hell. He is the way, the truth, the life. He was born to an earthy mother and sits at the right hand of our Heavenly Father.
Jesus was the Lamb of God and the Lion of the tribe of Judah. He forgave sin, He healed the sick; He corrected wickedness and defied human convention. The cattle on a thousand hills are His. He never promised earthly riches, but He provided a pathway to eternity. He is the perfecter of our Faith. He’s not in the tomb or on the cross, He’s not irrelevant. He’s not detained. Jesus is Lord overall.
Revelation 22:21 says, ‘The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen.’ (NIV) We live to serve Jesus Christ.
