00296 - Climb Every Mountain

When Kechi Okwuchi was 16 years old, she was in a plane crash, which took the lives of 107 of the 109 people on board. Sixty children were on the flight from her school; she was the only school surviver. Her burns were so extensive she was told she had a 30% chance of survival.

In our christian walk, we have to ask ourselves what are we prepared to do in order to get closer to God? When everything gets stripped away, there are sometimes only two choices in life, give up or move forward and face the world again.

2 Corinthians 4:8-9 says ‘We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.’ (NIV) If you have gone through something tough, God is with you and it may well be time to climb again.
