When we make a decision to follow Jesus, the Bible says we are a new creation. We are re-born into the Kingdom of God, reconciled to the Father and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
Our true colours before that day may have left a lot to be desired, but rejoice, your true colours now are a reflection of Him. Let the light within you shine brightly, you will be enigmatic, able to demonstrate the Kingdom at any time. People will say there is something different about you, something that they want, but don’t yet have - Jesus.
Matthew 5:16 says ‘In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.’ (NIV) Let’s allow the light of Christ to shine in and through us so brightly that we become a beacon of hope for everyone around us.

Lord help me to shine for You, brighter each day. Amen.
Action Point
Think about the things that stop you getting closer to Jesus, and let those things go, not Him.
