00226 - Behold The Lamb

Updated: Mar 10, 2023

The first time I heard this, I was on my first plane flight, which was to Uganda in 1996. As I looked through the windows, the chorus blasted out in my ears and I saw a shower of shooting stars hit the atmosphere. I will never forget that moment.

The song (link below) was sung during a conference in Rhema Church, South Africa, which Lionel Peterson led worship. The intersection by Bev Turner is magnificent. It truly was one of those God moments in worship.

John 1:29 when speaking of Jesus says, ‘Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!.’ (ESV) No wonder the song moved so many people who were there that night. People were crying, on their faces before God. It was incredible. Worship is the gateway to an encounter with God. Be blessed by the song ‘Behold the Lamb’ (link below).

Worship is a gateway to an encounter with God.

Thank You Lord, for sending Your son Jesus to rescue me back to you. Amen.
