Learning To Fly

Carl Brettle

Updated: Jan 25

It’s hard to image that it was only in 1905 the Wright brothers took the first powered flight. Today flying has become like taking a bus, easy to get from country to country. Man has been trying to copy the sleek design of an Eagle for years to make planes more efficient. The Eagle itself can fly up to 15,000 feet at 65 mph and see its prey from a mile away, not bad for something God created.

Our human body might never fly like an Eagle, but our spirit, God within us can soar. Isaiah 40:35 says, ‘But those that wait upon the Lord, shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint’.

Is it time you learned to fly in the spirit, to never tire of God? Go deeper in Him today!

Quote When you wait on God, you are gaining strength for what’s ahead.

Prayer Lord God, help to soar like an in Eagle in worship, prayer, or your word. Let me go deeper with you in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Action Point Know that God is with you, He is the wind beneath your wings. Think about how God has enabled you in your Kingdom journey so far.
