It’s hard to compare the life we have now with a life that will be eternal, everlasting. An eternal life, that ignores what job you have, the car you drive, the fancy clothes you wear or the latest phone you’ve bought – none of those will exist there.
Jesus in John 5:24 says ‘Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life’. You can’t get clearer than that!
Our life now is but a grain of sand on the beach of eternity, so don’t get caught up in the pursuit of riches, or fame. You can’t take any of that with you. Our work here is to introduce as many people as possible to Christ Jesus. Beyond that we will all worship Him, forever in Eternity.

Prayer Lord, please remind me each day that the life I lead is temporary and the things that matter are Eternal, Amen.
