Most of the time we give up on the dreams we have, even before doing anything to make them happen. That sounds harsh but think through the times when you aspired to want something, and nothing came of it.
In Mark 11:22-24, Jesus encourages us to have faith, pray and believe. Yet apathy or fear so easily seem to control us, and the breakthrough we hope for is lost.
Let’s change that, let’s gather our thoughts and this time make a plan centred fully around faith, prayer and belief. Let’s make an appointment with God each day, remove the negative voices around us and fill our lives with the potential for that breakthrough. I might be for family salvation, the start of a new project, or a complete change in life, perhaps even stepping full time into ministry. Remember, the fuel and currency of breakthrough is faith, prayer, and belief.

Father, help me to organise myself around faith and prayer, and to believe I will see your breakthrough in my circumstance, Amen.

Have you ever thought what life might be like without the negatives of news, soap operas or negative conversation for a week – give it a try, breakthrough will be closer.
