I knew very little about the Shroud, and unsurprisingly, most people I have spoken to since, particularly young people, know little or nothing about the Shroud either. This prompted me to think
of ways of sharing the story of the Shroud, resulting in this book.
I do not consider myself an expert on the Shroud, but I am an enthusiast, so I guess I’ve joined the Shroudies. I hope you will enjoy reading what I’ve discovered so far.
In writing, I assume you know nothing about the Shroud of Turin, and I invite you to join me in investigating “The Case of the Missing Body”.
We will have a close look at the Shroud itself, examine the science, identify the mysteries, study what the Bible says, follow the history, review what could have caused that image my friend David told me about, and consider an explanation.
Whatever your beliefs, I encourage you to keep an open mind as we examine the evidence the Shroud of Turin provides about the missing body.

Ten years ago I first published 'the 'Community Prayer Diary', 30,000 copies across the UK. The heart was simple, how do we pray for those people who make our community work ?
