An active and inquisitive mind will enrich your life. Yet most people find themselves striving through the days and weeks, seeming trapped by the mundane and ordinary.
Have you thought to do something out of the blue, start a course, begin painting or taking up a sport, just to distract yourself out of striving and into thriving. One of the biggest challenges we have is keeping our outlook on life fresh and fulfilled.
Ezekiel 16:7 says ‘I made you thrive like a plant in the field; and you grew, matured, and became very beautiful’. (NKJV) Have faith to believe your life could be as beautiful as this scripture states, yet the beginning says ‘I made you’, almost as if you needed a push. Sometimes we have to do things against our lack of motivation to force us through to the other side. It’s time to thrive for a while.
Quote
Thriving should be a destination not an event.
Prayer
Lord, help me cast off the things that weigh me down so that I can thrive, Amen.
Action Point
You might want to write a little bucket list of the things you would like to do, and then go and do them!
