Stereotypes are easy to follow—they create neat categories, shaping how people see themselves and others. But God never intended us to fit into man-made labels. He created each of us uniquely, with gifts, purpose, and a personal journey of faith. Following the crowd for the sake of acceptance can pull us away from who God calls us to be. Instead, we are to walk closely with Him, allowing His truth to define us.
Romans 12:2 reminds us, “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect” (NLT). Our identity is found in Christ, not in the expectations of society.
Stand firm in your faith. Be who God created you to be, not who the world expects.
