In our modern age most of us have heard about moves of God, when He comes to visit in an incredible way. Whether in Argentina, Pensacola or the many accounts through the Transformation Videos, Revival seemed within our reach.
James 4:8 says ‘Come near to God, and God will come near to you. You sinners, clean sin out of your lives. You who are trying to follow God and the world at the same time, make your thinking pure’. (NCV)
Revival is not how well your church is branded or what you can get from God without giving anything. Revival is desperation in prayer, sacrifice of time and faith that says God is coming to visit us before he does. The building blocks require perseverance and determination until God comes down. When Revival starts to blossom almost everything we knew before goes out the window, it’s all about Him.
Quote
Revival is often a result of our own desperation for God.
Prayer
Lord, help us find the appetite for prayer that changes us so dramatically, that you come and say hello, Amen.
