Showing up and never giving in are two of the most fruit bearing things we could do over Christian lives. Galatians 6:9 says ‘Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up’. (NIV)
There are times of course, which seem so difficult to get through, giving up looks like an attractive alternative. When things get tough in life, it’s always good to reflect on God’s word, breathe a little, have a break, or take a walk.
Know though, that if God called you to do what you are doing, then it’s best to find a way through. Rally yourself and renew that sense of excitement you had when you started. God is NOT disappointed in you, He’s continues to be with you holding your hand, every step of the way. You will make it!
Quote
Giving up questions the original commitment we made.
Prayer
Lord, thank you that you are with me, even during the times I don’t feel that. Let my heart be motivated back to the excitement I felt when I first started, Amen.
Action Point
It’s natural to go through the ups and downs of life. During the downs focus more on the things that bring you encouragement, you’ll feel much better.
