The title is a song written originally as a poem by Thomas Chisholm in 1923. He sent it to William Runyan who was connected to Moody Bible Institute and The Hope Publishing Company. The rest is history as they say. It’s been published in virtually every language and sung consistently around the world since then.
2 Thessalonians 3:3 says ‘But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one’ (ESV). We can of course take comfort in that.
Have you ever written anything, a poem, a story, or a song? Why not do what Thomas Chisholm did and send it to someone who can get it out there. Perhaps what God gave you in written form needs an audience to celebrate with you, the faithfulness of God through you. What is there to lose? The real question is how many people could be blessed!
Quote
The treasure God invested in your creativity will only be seen when it’s out there.
Prayer
Lord, give me the confidence to share what you have put inside of me, Amen.
Action Point Life is full, but don’t overlook a letter or poem, a note or gift you could send to a friend to encourage them.
