John 14:27 says ‘Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid’ (NIV). The reality of our lives these days is different, yet this scripture remains the same.
We often feel overworked, worried, and stressed, bombarded by news and social media, there doesn’t seem to be a way of blocking all those things out to just life like the way we used to when there were just four TV channels and a regular routine.
This scripture reminds us that Peace is a gift from Jesus, His peace can always be found and doesn’t cost anything. We need to practice how to find it, how it calms our heart and mind, focus on the peace Jesus gives to us to be sure that you will find yourself again.
Quote
One thing that never changes is the peace that Jesus offers us.

Heavenly Father thank you I can find rest and peace in Jesus, help me practice experiencing that, Amen.
Action Point When was the last time you had a good walk, took a little time out for yourself and rejoiced that you are within the Kingdom of God.
