Faith is often exercised without us even realising it. We breathe without seeing the air, yet we trust it will sustain us. We sit on a chair without testing its strength, expecting it will hold us. In the same way, faith in God is not always about grand gestures—it’s in the simple, daily trust that He is present, working behind the scenes even when we cannot see Him.
Hebrews 11:1 ultimately reminds us, “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen” (ESV). Just as we trust in things we do not physically see, so must we trust in God’s promises. His faithfulness is the foundation that we stand on, even when we don’t fully understand God’s plans.
Exercise faith in the small things. Trust that He is guiding your steps, even when the way forward seems unclear. He is always there.
Quote
Faith is trusting, even when you cannot see.
Prayer
Lord, help me to trust You in every moment, even when I cannot see the way ahead. Amen.
Action Point
Reflect on one daily action where you unconsciously exercise faith and apply that same trust to your walk with God.
