Don’t Just Be A Spectator

Carl Brettle

Updated: Feb 4

If you have ever heard of the 80/20 rule, you’ll know it speaks of 20% of the people doing 80% of the work, whatever the project or enterprise. This often leads to the 20% getting burnt out and the 80% complaining they are not being served well enough. The 20% complain the 80% are spectators and the 20% complain that the 80% don’t do anything! Which group do you belong to?

When we think of God’s Kingdom there is only one 100% group, in which everyone does something, and we all work together for a common cause. If you are not yet volunteering, serving, or helping someone or something, now is the first day of the rest of your life.

1 Kings 8:61 says ‘…May your hearts be fully committed to the Lord our God…’. (NIV). When we all pull as a team, everything is possible in God’s growing Kingdom.

Quote

Don’t be a spectator, God needs you active in His Kingdom.

Prayer

Father help me to find my place in your Kingdom, to put my heart into seeing more people find Jesus, Amen.

Action Point Everyone needs encouragement, so decide who to send a great message to today.
