A strong work ethic is more than just working hard—it’s about honouring God with our time, skills, and effort. Whether in a career, ministry, or daily responsibilities, doing our work with diligence and integrity reflects our faith. God calls us to approach our tasks with excellence, not just for human approval, but as an act of worship to Him.
Colossians 3:23 reminds us, “Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord and not for people” (NASB). Push into this and honour God. When we work with a mindset that honours God, our efforts become meaningful. It’s not just about results; it’s about faithfulness in what He has entrusted to us.
A good work ethic shapes our character, inspires others, and brings glory to God. Approach each task—big or small—with purpose, knowing that your diligence is a reflection of His presence in your life.
