We all make choices almost every week. The easy path is tempting—it offers quick results and minimal resistance. But often, what comes easily fades just as fast. True impact, the kind that shapes lives and echoes for generations, is found on the harder path. The road of perseverance, integrity, and faith may not give immediate rewards, but its influence lasts far beyond what we can see.
Matthew 7:14 reminds us, “But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it” (NIV). The harder path requires sacrifice, patience, and trust in God, but it leads to lasting purpose and eternal reward. The world offers shortcuts, but God calls us to something greater.
Choose the path that honours God, even when it’s difficult. The steps you take today could be the foundation of faith, wisdom, and blessing for generations to come.
