Life is a balance between the things we have to do and the things we want to do. While responsibilities are essential, God designed us to enjoy life too. When we find joy and purpose in both work and rest, we reflect His heart for balance and fulfilment. It’s not about neglecting duties, but about embracing life with gratitude and enthusiasm.
Ecclesiastes 3:12-13 in The Message reminds us, “I've decided that there's nothing better to do than go ahead and have a good time and get the most we can out of life. That's God’s gift.” (AMP). This calls us to appreciate both the work of our hands and the joy of living.
Always be diligent in your responsibilities and strive for balance—let your responsibilities honour God and your moments of joy refresh your soul. Life becomes meaningful when we see every aspect as part of His blessing.
