00920 - It’s OK To Be Quiet

Carl Brettle

In a world filled with noise and activity, it’s important to remember that it’s OK to be quiet. Silence is not a sign of weakness; it is often where we find clarity, peace, and God’s presence. Taking time to be quiet allows us to reflect, listen, and align ourselves with God’s will, strengthening our faith and focus.

Psalm 46:10 reminds us, “Be still, and know that I am God” (NIV). This so encourages us to embrace moments of stillness, trusting that God is at work even when we pause. In the quiet, we are reminded of His sovereignty and faithfulness, the anchors of our peace.

Being quiet creates space for God to speak into our hearts. By embracing silence, we find rest and deepen our connection with Him, equipping us to move forward with strength and purpose. Sometimes, just finding peace will clear the way for a bright future.

Quote

In the quietness, sometimes God speaks the loudest.

Prayer

Lord, teach me to embrace stillness and find Your peace in the quiet.

Action Point

Set aside five minutes today to sit in silence, focusing on God’s presence.
