00904 - Get Your Time Back

Finding time and peace can feel impossible in our fast-paced world, but there are ways to reclaim both. First, prioritise quiet time with God. Just as Jesus often withdrew to pray, we can find restoration in moments of stillness with Him. Psalm 46:10 reminds us, “Be still, and know that I am God” (NIV). Take even a few moments each day to be still before He provides us with His peace.

Secondly, learn to say no. Only some opportunities are meant to be pursued. By setting boundaries, you protect time for rest and reflection. This helps ensure that what you do say yes to aligns with your values and God’s purpose for you.

Lastly, simplify your schedule by focusing on what truly matters. Choose quality over quantity in your commitments. By aligning your life with God’s priorities, you create space for His peace to fill you amid the busyness.

Quote

Make me a servant of Your peace, Lord.

Prayer

Help me know when to stop and move away from busyness to focus on finding peace. Amen.

Action Point

When did you last take a day off to listen to worship, read and pray?
