Jehovah-Hoseenu

Carl Brettle

Updated: Feb 23

Jehovah-Hoseenu, meaning "The Lord Our Maker," reminds us of God’s incredible power and creativity. He is the One who formed us, crafted with intentional care and purpose. Recognising Him as our Maker instils a profound sense of worth and direction in our lives. We are not accidents but uniquely designed by the Creator Himself, each of us holding value and potential.

Psalm 95:6 beautifully declares, “O come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord our Maker [in reverent praise and prayer]” (AMP). This verse encourages us to honour Jehovah-Hoseenu, acknowledging His craftsmanship and sovereignty over our lives. Worship becomes a response to His boundless creativity and love.

Understanding that Jehovah-Hoseenu is our Maker encourages us to step confidently into our purpose. We can trust that He equips us for every task and empowers us to fulfil the plans He has uniquely set for us.

Quote

Let’s always remember we are the created, NOT the creator.
