Repentance is more than just feeling sorry for our mistakes; it is a heartfelt turning back to God. It means acknowledging where we’ve gone wrong, asking for His forgiveness, and consciously changing our ways. Repentance is an apology, an act of humility and sincerity that opens the door for God’s grace and renewal in our lives.
Acts 3:19 encourages us: “Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord” (NASB). This verse shows that repentance leads to restoration and a new beginning with God, bringing peace and a fresh sense of hope.
To embrace repentance, we should pray before God, laying down our burdens and committing to walk differently. With His help, repentance becomes a transformative journey, drawing us closer to His love and purpose. Returning to God will always help you.
