Investing ourselves in ministry helps us to live out our faith and serve God’s purposes. First, ministry allows us to use our gifts and talents for His glory. When we offer these in service to God, we help build up His Kingdom. The Bible says, “Each one, as a good manager of God’s different gifts, must use for the good of others the special gift he has received from God” (1 Peter 4:10, GNT).
Secondly, being involved in ministry deepens our relationship with God. As we serve, we depend more on Him for strength and guidance, drawing closer in our walk with Him. Ministry shapes and grows our faith, encouraging us to rely on God daily.
Finally, ministry allows us to share God’s love with others. Through acts of service and words of hope, we become light, leading others to know the joy and peace that come from God.
