Negotiating is a part of life, whether it's in relationships, work, or navigating daily challenges. Even if you've had bad experiences or faced rejection, it’s important not to give up. Life’s setbacks can teach us valuable lessons, helping us approach situations with more wisdom and perseverance. When done with patience and integrity, negotiation can lead to positive outcomes.
The Bible encourages persistence. Jesus said, "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you" (Matthew 7:7, NIV). This speaks of not giving up, even when the path seems complicated. Negotiation requires us to keep asking, seeking, and knocking, trusting that God will guide us.
Don’t let past failures discourage you. Approach each new situation with faith and a willingness to negotiate calmly and reasonably. Doing so opens the door for growth and the possibility of new opportunities.
